SoftLift
The SoftLift® is a single-use, non-invasive, vacuum-activated device for grasping, retracting, and manipulating abdominal organs and tissues. It is designed for use in laparotomy, minilaparotomy and transvaginal procedures to reduce the risk of trauma to organs and tissues.
The SoftLift generates a safe and effective vacuum system by means of its patented, ergonomic PalmPumpTM, the same as is used in the industry-leading Kiwi® Vacuum Delivery System. The PalmPump's integral design provides a simple hand vacuum pump, thumb- or finger-activated vacuum release valve, and a vacuum indicator gauge
The SoftLift has a soft, malleable vacuum cup that spreads the vacuum attachment force over a widely distributed area, resulting in less traumatic forces than linear instruments like forceps and clamps. A wider distribution area for grasping, retracting and manipulation forces results in reduced trauma to organs and tissues. In addition, the vacuum cup has elevated internal ridges to prevent the cup from sliding, or "skating", across tissues
The vacuum cup's small size and deformable material allows for easy cup insertion into narrow cavities. And, with a low cup profile and a flexible stem, the SoftLift eliminates the need for bulky instruments, enabling better visualization and quicker completion of the procedure.
The vacuum cup has elevated internal ridges to maximize the strength of attachment, and to prevent the cup from sliding, or "skating", across tissues
