The sealed and rigid surface is ideal for medical use, where constant cleaning with harsh chemicals is a must. Because the Man & Machine is also quieter than "standard" keyboards, it is great for applications where noise generated from “key-clicks” is a problem. Extremely durable and proven in the Hospital environment, the man & Machine keyboard line has many different size options, an option with a backlight and options with varying warranty lifetimes. MAN & MACHINE CLEANABLE MOUSE IMS offers the Man & Machine Sealed 5 Button Mouse for complete safety and cleanliness with the full functionality and feel of a standard mouse. The Five Button mouse has three buttons designed to simulate the function of a scroll wheel, without the cracks or crevices for bacteria to grow. The mouse is waterproof and can be disinfected with alcohol, 10% bleach or other common hospital cleaning chemicals. The mouse carries a limited lifetime warranty. MAN & MACHINE UCOOL WASHABLE KEYBOARD The U Cool washable keyboard is Man & Machine's answer to people and organizations who want an hygienic computer workplace. The U Cool keyboard can be rinsed out and even submerged in water. The capacity for the U Cool to be thoroughly washed reduces the quantity of surface germs and therefore mitigates the risk to users. The inside of the keyboard is sealed to protect it against fluids such as water or coffee, and even most cleaning materials. Drainage holes in each key pocket allow excess water or spilled fluids to quickly exit the keyboard before causing damage. These features do not disrupt typing comfort; the U Cool looks and feels like a normal keyboard. MEDIGENIC CLEANABLE KEYBOARD Some medical grade keyboards still have ridges and gaps that make them difficult to clean and disinfect. The Medigenic line of keyboards offered by IMS have a completely flat surface for ease of cleaning. Medigenic keyboards are sealed to the IP65 standard and can tolerate all standard hospital cleaning agents. The tactile feedback this keyboard offers is excellent, providing the user with the feel they have become accustomed to. Made of the same pliant silicone-based material as its counter- part Medigenic Medical Keyboard, this pointing device may also be rinsed as necessary. A smooth latex-free surface provides hypoallergenic advantages, while eliminating nooks and crannies where bacteria can hide. The comfortable, ergonomic design features standard right and left button functionality. The Medigenic keyboard-mouse system provides an on-board alert indicator that reminds users to clean both keyboard and mouse at regularly timed intervals.
